The film’s plot centers on a man who becomes the random target of a sniper, and given the current killing spree by a sniper near the nation’s capital, filmmakers worry that the film will be too upsetting for an already jittery public.
No firm decision has been reached by the film’s distributor, 20th Century Fox. Through a spokesperson, it has announced that it is monitoring the developments.
“All I can say at the moment is we are evaluating the situation,” a representative said.
If the film is yanked from its scheduled Nov. 15 opening date, producers will have to find it another slot
