But nooooo. It seems that younger bruv Liam, who has no problem with reports of his drug busts or obnoxious behavior (like spitting on audiences) takes exception to press speculation that he’s cheated on a saint.
Actually, make that an ex-Saint, since his current girlfriend, Nicole Appleton, is a former member of the short-lived girl band All Saints. Anyway, Liam is seeing red over a British tab’s report that he was spending what we would refer to as quality time with an Italian fan (dare we say fallen angel?) behind his Saint’s back. The story, which he blasts as a complete fabrication, was splashed across the tabloid’s front page last week.
A band spokesman rubbished the article.
“[Liam is] maintaining he did not sleep with the girl in question,” said the flack. “He’s never been unfaithful to Nicole.”
The singer recently filed suit against the People newspaper and its publisher, Trinity Mirror. Stay tuned to see whether the paper prevails, or whether they run smack into a wonderwall.
