New & Notewrthy: Westlife: over the moon

Fans of Irish boy band Westlife will see a whole new side to their heroes this week, thanks to a BBC camera crew, who captured on film some of the band’s boys-will-be-boys moments on their recent promotional tour. The hijinks included swearing (gasp!), fighting (double gasp!) and – in a gesture that menfolk seem to consider the height of hilarity – mooning one another. (Yes, it’s beyond a triple gasp.)

Understandably, the band’s record company is a wee bit concerned about how all this horseplay will go down with the boys’ fan base, most of whom don’t even know that the boys have, er, hineys.
