The A-List Aussie actress is – pardon the expression – bummed that she lacks the voluptuous curves of fellow celebrities J-Lo and Sophia Loren.
“I would love to have [a figure] like Jennifer Lopez. I honestly would,” Kidman told a British newspaper.
“But I’m not going to have surgery,” she laughed. “So there it is, guys.”
Nic – famously divorced from fellow superstar Tom Cruise – is resigned to her own figure, which she describes as “a ballet dancer’s body.”
“You’re born with what you’re born with,” she shrugged.
Ironically, at the London premiere of her new film, “Cold Mountain,” the slender redhead was mistaken for the famously curvaceous British star, Kate Winslet. By Prince Charles, no less.
As they chatted, the prince asked whether Nic had been in the film “Enigma” – which starred Winslet and actor Dougray Scott. The actress was puzzled by the question.
“No,” she mumbled. “Moulin Rouge.”
Charles recovered with his customary smoothness.
“You’ve done a bit since then,” he said approvingly.
“Yes,” agreed Nicole. “A few things.”
In more Nicole news, the actress says she’ll never star in a movie opposite Cruise again. Which is bad news for those of you who’ve been waiting for the sequel to their early 90s stinker, “Far and Away.”
“There is something about on-screen coupling that doesn’t work,” she said. And if you don’t believe her, just ask Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
