The purchase was reported on the front page of the Irish Independent and on the front page of the property supplement of the Irish Times on July 10.
The stories quoted Arthur French and his son John Bosco French of French’s estate agency in Leixlip, which is handling marketing of the luxury golfing homes.
They said Clinton had shaken hands on the deal with Arthur French the previous weekend during a game of golf at the Royal County Down course in Northern Ireland.
