The Independent quotes one of Sinead?s friends who said that ?there was never any doubt,? but that the singer was ?greatly relieved for [the baby?s] sake that the paternity matter has been cleared up.?
Mum?s the word for the 38-year-old singer.
?Yes, I can confirm that Donal Lunny is the father of Shane,? she said. ?I have no further comment and I will not be speaking about this matter in the future.?
The singer retired from show business last year, when she discovered that she was pregnant. Shane joins her brood, which includes Jake Reynolds (17) and Roisin Waters (8).
