NYGAA: Dublin RIGS meeting ends on a high note

Dooley reported that the GAA have remained firm in their $2 million commitment to the project and want to see New York double that outlay. The GAA are looking to involve the entire Irish community in the project and to that end will appoint a ten member committee made up of three representatives each from the GAA, the New York GAA, and RIGS, with two independent members.
With this new group leading the effort Dooley believes that “Randall’s Island will happen.”
