Off the Field Fermanagh to raffle All-Ireland trip

The Fermanagh Gaelic football club of New York will hold a raffle for an All-Ireland package to include two return tickets to Ireland, two nights accommodation in Dublin and two tickets for the All-Ireland football final. Crof golf tourney in Mahopac

The third annual golf tournament to benefit Crof, the West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation, will take place Sept. 11 in Putnam Country Club in Mahopac, N.Y. Shotgun start is at 9:30 a.m. entry fee is $175 per person and $700 for a fourball. These prices cover green fees, cart, breakfast, lunch, dinner with 3-hour open bar, attendance at awards presentation ceremony and entry to Crof’s special auction. NW Hospice golf tourney Aug. 22

The fifth annual charity golf tournament in aid of the Northwest Hospice for the terminally ill in Ireland will take place Aug. 22 in Pleasantview Lodge, Freehold, N.Y., in the Catskills. Tee time is 11 a.m. and the Calloway system will be used. The North West Hospice for the terminally ill is based in Sligo and caters for parts of the adjoining counties of Leitrim, Roscommon, Donegal and Mayo. In an area where many people live alone, and often have no close family member to care for them, the hospice for the terminally ill is among the most worthy charities in the west and north west of Ireland. The hospice also provides a valuable bereavement service, helping people and their loved ones to cope with dying and death. The entry fee of $100 per person ($400 per foursome) covers green fees, electric cart, light lunch and refreshments and full course awards presentation dinner. For those attending dinner only, the cost is just $25. All proceeds go towards the Northwest Hospice. Fees must be received before Aug. 15. Checks should be made payable to Northwest Hospice. Tee sponsorship ($100) and prizes to be awarded are also sought. All sponsors will be assigned a tee with a sign marking the sponsor’s name. There will also be a list of all sponsors, complete with addresses and phone numbers, given out at the awards dinner. Leitrim skydive

Leitrim Ladies GFC will hold its second annual sponsored skydive on Aug. 23. $50 deposits are required immediately as spots are limited. Proceeds will be split with the club and a charity.
