Off the Field LGAA talent show at Dolan’s

The New York Ladies GAA will hold a “Stars in Your Eyes” talent competition in Rory Dolan’s on Friday, Aug. 7, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Music will be by Homeward Bound. Admission is $20. This fund-raiser is to assist the All-Star team that is traveling to Ireland.

Leitrim women to hold skydive

Leitrim Ladies GFC will hold its second annual sponsored skydive on Aug. 23. $50 deposits are required immediately as spots are limited. Proceeds will be split with the club and a charity. A bus will depart from and arrive back to The Heritage Bar, McLean Avenue, in Yonkers, for the skydive party. Fermanagh raffle

The Fermanagh Gaelic football club of New York will hold a raffle for an All-Ireland package to include two return tickets to Ireland, two nights accommodation in Dublin and two tickets for the All-Ireland football final. Crof golf tourney in Mahopac

The third annual golf tournament to benefit Crof, the West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation, will take place Sept. 11 in Putnam Country Club in Mahopac, N.Y. Shotgun start is at 9:30 a.m. entry fee is $175 per person and $700 for a fourball. These prices cover green fees, cart, breakfast, lunch, dinner with 3-hour open bar, attendance at awards presentation ceremony and entry to Crof’s special auction. NW Hospice golf tourney Aug. 22

The fifth annual charity golf tournament in aid of the Northwest Hospice for the terminally ill in Ireland will take place Aug. 22 in Pleasantview Lodge, Freehold, N.Y., in the Catskills. Tee time is 11 a.m. and the Calloway system will be used.

The entry fee of $100 per person ($400 per foursome) covers green fees, electric cart, light lunch and refreshments and full course awards presentation dinner. For those attending dinner only, the cost is just $25.

Fees must be received before Aug. 15. Checks should be made payable to Northwest Hospice. Tee sponsorship ($100) and prizes to be awarded are also sought.

Cardinal Spellman Golf Outing

The 6th annual Cardinal Spellman Golf Outing will take place Sept. 14 at the Knollwood Country Club in Elmsford, N.Y. The $250 contribution includes locker room, green fees, golf carts, brunch, cocktails, dinner, tournament prizes and door prizes. Emerald Golf Outing

The Emerald Society of the Queens Private Bus Lines, Inc., will hold its first benefit golf outing on Sept. 26, with tee off at noon at the Douglaston Golf Course.

The price per golfer will be $90, which includes golf, golf cart, beverage and hot dog at the turn. All golfers will receive prizes at the course and prizes at the awards buffet afterwards. After golfing there will be a three-hour open bar and hot buffet at the Joyce Kilmer Knights of Columbus, 35-79 160th Street, Flushing. There will be a 50-50 drawing at the awards dinner. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the open bar and buffet for $20. There will be trophies presented for low net, low gross, closest to the pin and for longest drive.

Franciscan Health Care Games dinner

The annual Franciscan Health Care Games celebration dinner will take place Sept. 19 at the Sheraton, in New York. The honorees will be Boston Celtics coach Rick Pitino and his wife Joanne; renowned jockey Julie Krone; Thomas Moran, president and ceo of Mutual of America; and Will Radcliff, chairman of Slush Puppie.

In addition to the celebration diner, there will be several weekend sports events: the celebrity pro-am golf tournament on Sept. 17 at Knollwood Country Club; the Marcus O’Sullivan 5K challenge on Sept. 19 in Central Park; and the Franco Harris celebrity pro-am tennis tournament on Sept. 19 at Tennisport, in Long Island City.
