The 41-year-old Shamrock Soccer Club, which lost its equipment and memorabilia in the recent fire at J.J. Gilligan’s, is holding a raffle to help the club retool for the upcoming Cosmopolitan Soccer League season, according to club president Scotty Shevlin. The drawing will be held at the club’s annual general meeting on Aug. 5 at a time and location to be determined.
Tickets are $20 and the draw is limited to 500 tickets. First prize is two round-trip tickets to Ireland and tickets for the sold-out World Cup qualifier between Ireland and Holland Sept. 1 at Lansdowne Road. Second prize is $300 and third is $200.
