O’Leary leery, yet interested

The Ryanair chief has indicated that a third bid for control of the former Irish flag carrier is “highly unlikely” but he has stated that he would back further Ryanair investment in Aer lingus.
Ryanair owns just under thirty percent of Aer Lingus at present.
O’Leary has previously spoken of Ryanair starting up its own transatlantic services but speaking at the budget airline’s recent annual general meeting he indicated that any such move was still three or fours years away at least.
Ryanair has expressed interest in flying to smaller U.S. airports though probably under a different name.
Airports on Long Island and upstate New York have been looked at by Ryanair in this regard.
