O’Toole to star in Hitler miniseries

The good news is O’Toole will play Paul Von Hindenberg, who was president of Germany from 1925-34. The bad news is, the four-part series is about Adolph Hitler’s rise to power.
Strangely, for a show set in Deutscheland, the cast is peppered with British and Irish-American actors: Robert “The Full Monty” Carlyle will play Hitler, while Stockard Channing will play his mother. Rounding out the cast are Matthew Modine and Jena Malone.
