What is your latest book about?
I have written a memoir of my life starting with my childhood in Dublin and Wicklow. In Spain, at age 18, Ernest Hemingway offered me a job for the summer as his secretary. He invited me to come to Cuba in January 1960 and continue to work for him there. I spent the next year with the Hemingways in Cuba, New York and Spain. Mary invited me to Ernest’s funeral in July 1961. It was there that I met my future husband, Ernest’s youngest son, Gregory. He was at medical school at the time and it would be five years before we married.
