Gearing up for the big day, cities, villages and towns all over the nation are slapping on the green paint, sashes and hats, warming up the pipes and hitting the streets for their own celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
If you can’t make it to the greatest of them all on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, here are a few other parades where you can test your Irishness against the best of them:

Throggs Neck

Brooklyn Celts

Bay Ridge

The annual Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Saturday, March 25, at noon.
South Street Stroll

The 14th annual St Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on March 11 at noon with Vice President Al Gore leading as grand marshal.
