Westmeath vs. Meath
Westmeath were up against it in their semifinal matchup against Roscommon and that challenge may stand them in good stead. Still, Meath look like the real deal and I think they will trip up their neighbors on the first leg of their triple.

Limerick vs. Connecticut
Defending champions Limerick take on upstart Connecticut, last year promoted Junior Hurling Champions. Connecticut rely on Phil Wickham, Richie Purcell, and Keith Hennessey to lead the way. Limerick look to Finbar Flood, Brendan Cagney, and company to defend their title. Limierick have appeared vulnerable at times this season and Connecticut may just surprise the favorites.

Clare vs. Monaghan
Clare were so impressive against Mayo a couple of weeks ago. Putting 3-19 on the board against a rugged Mayo defense, the Bannermen present a formidable challenge to Monaghan. The Ulster side survived a tough match against Offaly and toughness is a hallmark of Monaghan’s team. I think Monaghan’s combination of skill and strength will take the Senior B Title.

Kerry vs. Westmeath
Two teams trying to get back into the winner’s circle. Kerry have had a solid season, led as always by Bingo O’Driscoll, Dave Sweeney, Jamie O’Driscoll, Willie O’Donnell, and Dave McCarthy. They have been dependable performers all season and will be counted on to get Kerry back to the final.
Westmeath, still alive in Senior Hurling and Junior Football B, still have their sights set on the triple. They will try to shake off a dismal performance in their last league match versus Stamford.
Kieran Walsh and Tom Quinn lead the defense and P.J. Ward and Shane Ward bear watching by the Kerry back line. This should be a close match and P.J. Ward’s free-taking may be the difference.
