Rallying for Caroline

February 17, 2011

By Staff Reporter

Caroline, a Pearl River native with parental ties to Limerick and Clare, was diagnosed with cancer when she was just twelve years old, but she battled her way into remission.
The cancer returned last year but again, Caroline, now 34 and living in Saratoga Springs, beat back the disease and his has again been given the all-clear.
What’s not gone away, however, are the sky-high medical bills that have devastated the finances of Caroline and her husband James to the point that they fear they might have to sell their home.
In an effort to reduce, the financial, emotional and physical toll on both Caroline and her husband, friends and family will be rallying this Sunday, October 1, for a fundraiser in Rory Dolan’s on McLean Avenue in Yonkers.
The fundraiser, which will feature a number of top musical acts, will run from 2 to 10 p.m.
Details are available from Linda Calise at (845)215-5427. Donations by mail can also be made to the Caroline Kenneally Cooney Fund, C/O Linda Calise, PO Box 120, Nanuet, NY 10954.
