Roses in bloom

Master of Ceremonies for the evening was ESPN broadcaster Tommy Smyth, who interviewed each contestant, to the delight of the audience at Legends Bar in NYC. Each prospective Rose answered questions, and displayed her unique talent — ranging from singing to dancing to playing a musical instrument.
By the end of the night, there were two winners: Ashling Colton, 22, a recent graduate of Fordham University, was named the New York Rose, and Genevieve O’Reilly, 22, a graduate of Manhattan College, was named the New Jersey Rose.
