DUBLIN – Shannon proved their worth as the country’s leading rugby club when they added the Munster Senior Cup to the All Ireland League title they won convincingly last month.
Despite overcoming Young Munster in the final by just 19-18, Shannon were once again the dominant force in a tense game.
Meanwhile, Lansdowne triumphed in Leinster where they defeated first time finalists, Skerries, by 23-17.
