SUNSHINE TOUR
Michael Hoey’s 66 was the low score of Sunday’s final round of the Stanbic Zambia Open, a distinction shared with one other player, but that was far too little and much too late for the Belfastman to climb atop the leaderboard. Instead, Hoey took fourth place at the Lusaka Golf Club with his 11-under-par 281 (73-71-71-66). Michael Kirk, at 274, enjoyed a three-stroke victory. Hoey had eight birdies and only one bogey on Sunday, including consecutive birds on the 11th through 14th holes. Colm Moriarty tied for 25th place at 289 (72-73-73-71).
