St. Mary’s opened up a four-point gap at the top of rugby’s All Ireland League after their 42-5 demolition of Ballymena at Templeville Road last Saturday. With Young Munster losing to Cork Constitution, the Dublin club are alone in the top division with a 100 per cent record.
Munsters went down 21-17 at Temple Hill, but hold on to second place along with Terenure who defeated Buccaneers 10-6 at home. Lansdowne are fourth after an easy 26-3 defeat of Clontarf, while Shannon and Garryowen are next following 28-13 and 35-3 wins over Dungannon and DLSP, respectively.
