With saxophonist Anton Thistlethwaite unable to make the trip for personal reasons, 19-year-old bass player David Carton will join the group temporarily.
If the name seems familiar to you, its because David is the son of the bands lead singer, Davey Carton. Having inherited his fathers musical genes, the younger Carton is an accomplished guitarist and fronts his own band in Gort. His playing (and the absence of a brass section) will give the band more of a rock n roll edge than usual. Should make for some very interesting sounds, since Davids usual playlist includes Linkin Park and AC/DC.
