The Black & The Green Patron: Larry Ginsberg

A graduate of Queens College, CUNY, Ginsberg is a retired computer programmer, formerly with the NYC Board of Education; an associate member of the United Steelworkers; retired member of DC37, AFSCME; and belongs to many organizations including Irish Northern Aid, Pax Christi, and the NAACP.
Ginsberg shared his personal philosophy with the Irish Echo. “What matters is someone’s character rather than their native tongue, skin color, or country of origin,” he said. “I intuitively identify with the underdog, and try to do what’s right, even when it’s unpopular.”
