But it is indeed that time of year and from here on in Americans of every
stripe, not just Irish, will be celebrating the biggest non-official holiday in the nation.
St. Patrick’s Day is now a season that lasts the better part of a month. And when it passes we turn our minds not just to spring, summer and other highlights of the calendar but also next year’s St. Patrick’s Day, again seemingly only the blink of an Irish eye away.
