Time running out for Jurys’ takeover

The board of the Jurys Doyle group has turned down two takeover offers from the Precinct Consortium since May. Precinct continues to play its cards close to its chest. But the Irish Takeover Panel has now ruled that the consortium must table a new offer by Friday or cease its takeover efforts for at least 12 months. Most observers believe that a third offer is likely.
JurysDoyle owns 33 hotels in Ireland, the U.S. and the UK Its portfolio includes some landmark names, including Dublin’s Westbury, Berkeley Court and Burlington hotels. It has four hotels in the U.S. — three in Washington D.C. and one in Boston.
