Tom Flatley

This was not surprising. Flatley, a most personable man, was also a very private one, not given to much fuss and bother. But his life was given to much, not least many charitable and worthy causes that benefited from his self-made fortune.
The Mayo man came to America in the vanguard of that generation we loosely refer to as the 50s Irish. What followed was a life of hard work, smart moves and doubtless a bit of luck.
