Up, up and away to the West

Knock airport in County Mayo is set to go transatlantic with a scheduled service that will provide travelers out of New York’s JFK and Boston’s Logan airport with a direct route into the heart of western Ireland.
The new service, which will be operated by a new travel company, MyguideIreland, in conjunction with Scottish based low-cost scheduled airline Flyglobespan, was announced simultaneously on both sides of the Atlantic this week by the Irish government’s Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs,
