Take fellow “Ballykissangel” alumnus Victoria Smurfit, who will hit the screens on April 16 alongside Asian heartthrob Chow Yun Fat in the action flick “Bulletproof Monk.”
In the martial arts film, her character is “a vile, immoral [rhymes with witch]” laughed Smurfit. She says that she enjoyed the job immensely.
“It’s great fun . . . [to] get paid to go to work and be horrible to everyone,” she said.
“[You] get it all out of your system, then go home and be all fluffy,” she admitted. “It’s just so nice!”
The film is Victoria’s latest project featuring big-name stars. She won good reviews for her small role as Hugh Grant’s love interest in last summer’s “About a Boy,” and also starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in 2000’s “The Beach.”
