And everyone’s favorite genie in a bottle, Christina Aguilera, will be, like, searching for her Irish (Omigod!) roots when she hits the Emerald Isle during her world tour.
Christina, who parlayed her Latin heritage (on her father’s side) into a truckload of street cred, now wants to trace her Irish heritage. Her mother, Sherry Fidler, is 100 percent Irish American, according to showbizireland.com. (Not to crow or anything, but we told you that three years ago.)
The “Beautiful” singer (like duuuuuh — it’s a song) will no doubt be looking up relations in County Clare, since that’s where her grandparents hailed from. The Fidlers immigrated to America after World War II, had a daughter who had a daughter, and the rest is pop history.
