Christopher Boles


Christopher S. Boles died on Sunday, July 25, at his home in Woodside, Queens, New York.


Christopher was born December 26, 1927 in Geevagh, County Sligo. He was a proprietor of the Castle Inn, Goal Post in Yorkville, and Paddy's Pub.


Christopher was beloved husband for nearly 60 years to Catherine (McGee). Loving father of Edward "Eddie" Boles and his wife Trish, Mary O'Brien and her husband John, Siobhan Cornette and her husband Christopher, Deidre O'Riordan and her husband Gerard, and the late John Boles and his wife Laura.

He was cherished grandfather of Conor, Micaela, Ceili, Brendan, Jake, Grace, Sean, Luke, Ciara, Michael, Owen, Eamon, Patrick and Fallon. Christopher is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.


Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home, 43-07 Queens Boulevard, Sunnyside.


Funeral Mass will be held 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, at St. Sebastian's RCC, 58th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla following the Mass.
