Amazing Grace

Grace’s battle against cancer was given a big boost recently when a fundraiser organized by the County Cork Association in the city raised $45,000 to help meet her enormous medical costs.
But more than even this sum will be needed to continue treatment. Kevin O’Gorman from Passage West, County Cork, and his wife, Millicent have been traveling back and forth to New York with two-year-old Grace who is suffering from Stage Four Neuroblastoma, the most serious form of this particular cancer.
Grace’s treatment will ultimately cost an estimated $800,000. Although Kevin and Millie have had to leave their employment (she is a medical doctor and he is an engineer) as well as their home to resettle temporarily in New York, all of their savings, plus money borrowed, has gone to Grace’s treatment.
More information about Grace O’Gorman and her brave fight is available at www.graceogorman.com. Donations can still be sent to the Cork Association Grace O’Gorman Fund, 3301 Greenpoint Ave,. LIC, NY 11101.
