Fruition is run by Grainne O’Kane, a Drogheda woman. She specializes in top quality, fine fruit baskets and luxury gifts for both the corporate and personal gift markets.
O’Kane created fruition as a result of her experience in catering in New York. The Drogheda native specialized in buffet table design where she created colorful and innovative table decoration using leaves, flowers, fruit and nuts.
“I spent 10 years working in the catering industry in New York,” she said. “I attempted to send fruit baskets to people at home as presents but there was no company, so I decided to start it myself when I returned.
“I think women like them because they are a good combination of luxury and health and men like them because they are a welcome surprise.”
