The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton, Mass., will host Galway’s Headford Theatre Group on Friday, July 5, and Realtai Corafinne on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13, at 8 p.m.

The Headford Theatre Group, which has won seven international awards, will present the American debut of “Thy Will be Done”, by Michael Carey and directed by Mary Kirrane.

The play centers on two elderly brothers who live side by side in a small town in the West of Ireland. Not a single word has passed between them in 40 years, apparently

due to a falling out over an inheritance. But when Martin arrives from America and decides to stay, he begins to delve into the cause of the breakup between his father and uncle. Eventually he realizes that there is far more involved that a mere age-old squabble over land and as the drama

unfolds, he finds himself cast unwittingly into the central role.
