The final of the John Dunican Memorial Cup was finally contested on Sunday last between Ulster and Munster. Ulster emerged victors after a second-half come back.

It was a closely fought match with both teams enjoying plenty of possession. Munster made the most of the play in the first half with 1 goal and 7 points to Ulster’s 3 points.

Rose Dunican-Healy presented the cup to Dervil Carey the Ulster Captain.

Ulster scorers: Nadine Doherty 1-3, Joanne McKenna 2-3, Monica Slevin 1-0, Marie Flood, Pauline Boylan, Grace Kelly, Clare Tracey 1 pt each.
