Indeed, as you know, the Echo will be celebrating 75 years of publishing in 2003. I have no doubt that the proud traditions handed down over the years at the Echo will be to the fore as the paper moves forward in its mission of placing on record the inspiring story of the Irish in America. At the same time it will undoubtedly respond to the keen interest of Irish Americans to keep up to date on the many positive changes taking place in the land of their ancestors
