New Northern tourism bodies

The Tourism Strategy Forum and the InterDepartmental Coordination Group on Tourism are part of an overall strategy aimed at getting the private and public tourism sectors to work more closely and effectively.
Denis Galway, chairman of the Northern Ireland Tourist Industry Confederation, welcomed the news.
“We very much welcome the plans for better coordination between departments and also between the public and private sectors, which will help toward optimiZing Northern Ireland’s immense tourist potential.”
