New & Noteworthy: The Great Ceili Corr

The littlest Corr has signed on to star in “The Great Ceili War,” which will be shot in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man over the next couple of months. According to Hot press, she will play a local girl who falls in love with a Liverpudlian fiddler who’s in Ireland to compete in Clare’s Battle of the Bands.
Fans will recall Andrea’s cameo role in the film version of “Evita” and her dazzling turn as the crabby kid sis in “The Commitments.” Who’d have thought you could launch a brilliant career by rolling your eyes and inviting an unwanted suitor to “Go and shite”?
