Gallagher, who is estranged from his wife, Meg Matthews, and who recently split with his girlfriend, says that he finds Dec. 25 the most depressing day of the year. So this year, he’s determined to ban every last sign of it from his ho-ho-home.
“It’s the first time I’m going to be on my own [for] Christmas,” he told Sky News. “I’m really looking forward to not having any cards or decorations up.”
The elder Gallagher says that he plans to stay inside with his doors and windows shut tight, which precludes any cheery visits from little brother Liam. But don’t worry — he’ll mark the holiday in his own way.
“I’ll be in London, sat [sic] on my couch, arms folded, curtains drawn, having a drink,” he said. Just before he’s visited by three spirits.
