Off the Field Cassidy 7-a-side tourney

The Cavan Gaelic Football club’s Fourth Annual John Joe Cassidy Memorial 7-a-side Football Tournament will be held Sunday, March 28. Registration is from 10:30-11 a.m. at the Southbend Bar. There are 16 teams in four divisions. Games start at noon with Monaghan playing Donegal (Philadelphia), Kerry vs. Longford, Stamford vs. Cork, and Cavan vs. Donegal B (New York). Kilmoyley Fund-raiser

The Kilmoyley Hurling Club will hold a fund-raiser on Sunday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at Rory Dolan’s in Yonkers. Committee members are Tom Murnane, Maurice Foley, Patrick Purtill, John E. Greaney and Jim O’Donnell.
