Rovers won this Dr. Manning Cup game easily with Steve Boggiano in top form, scoring two excellent early goals early on.
The final score was Rovers 5, Kastrioti 0.
Paul McGlynn scored a rare goal, and Damian Dunleevy added two later on. Goalkeeper Jack Stefanovich impressed again and has yet to be beaten in four games. Pat Brosnahan was outstanding in defense.
In the Heidecker Cup, East Meadow drew 1-1 with Rovers.
Two goals for veteran midfielder John Browne saw the Rovers through, with Kieron Branagan outstanding in goals, and with Nick Sebastian,Willie Dempsey and Mick Kavanagh all in top form, there was no way through for East Meadow. Eddie Beji scored the third.
In the Carbone Cup, Rovers beat Lindenhurst 5-0.

Rovers advance, thanks to a brace from Marshall McAdoo, whose two first-half goals settled Rovers nerves. Dave Quigley added a third, and Peter Hallinan scored a wonder goal, beating four defenders and the keeper. Pete Kelly completed the rout.
