What is your writing routine? Are there ideal conditions?
I have yet to find “ideal conditions,” because you can make the time to write and then nothing happens the way you expect it or want it to. It seems to be many false starts and going in the wrong direction, but you try to find a way to shape your material and, hopefully, create an engaging and honest story. What advice do you have for aspiring writers?
I’m not sure: but you have to find your own way to do it, and then to keep doing it obsessively, and not worry about what others are going to think or say. I’m always troubled when I sit down to write that nothing will happen, even if things went well the day before. Maybe, don’t look for gains in it beyond the writing itself.
