The proudest moment of my career: When my cookbook “Recipes to Nurture” was chosen as the “best health and nutrition cookbook in the world” at the Gourmand World Cookbook awards.

Biography: Aine McAteer, a native of County Cavan, has spent the last 35 years traveling the world in a quest to learn from leading teachers about the impact of food on health. She has had an illustrious career in the Hollywood movie world as a personal chef for A list actors, including Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Robert Redford, Pierce Brosnan, John Cusack, Marisa Tomei and others. Aine is a published and award winning cookbook author, and has been featured on television and in newspapers and magazines worldwide. Although based in California, Aine travels the world both as a personal chef and teaching workshops on food and health in locations such as South Africa, Bali, Australia, and of course her native Ireland where she is a regular on RTE’s “Four Live” during those trips home.
