Daniel O’Sullivan

Daniel O’Sullivan Daniel-O'Sullivan-

Age: 41

Place of birth: Bronx, NY.

Where you live: Pelham Manor, NY.

Job Description: I have worked for the New York City Police Department for 18 years, presently assigned as a detective to the Technical Assistance Response Unit.

Why I chose this career: While growing up, a police officer was always respected and held in high esteem within my family. Whenever something went wrong they were always there to answer the call. I chose to answer the call.

The proudest moment of my career: While serving as a member of the greatest police department in the country, on the day of September 11th and in the months following, I had the opportunity to see New York City at its best, while going through its worst. Working alongside individuals from other city agencies, as well as the witnessing the tremendous support of the people of NYC, made me proud to serve this amazing city.

I celebrate my Irish heritage by: Marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade every year with the NYPD, serving as a member of the Emerald Society and playing Gaelic football for over 35 years with NY Celtic GFC as well the past 18 years with NYPD GFC.
