I celebrate my Irish heritage by: Keeping up with current events in Ireland and the Irish community here. I am an avid reader of Irish history and listen to Irish music. I try to pass the culture and traditions on to my children.

Biography

James was raised in Woodside Queens, the son of Irish immigrants. His mother is from Cork and his father is from Mayo. He is married to his wife Nicola (family is from Antrim) and they have three daughters, Megan 8, Caitlin 6, and Leah 4. He has been a member of the NYPD for 21 years, working most of his career in Manhattan.
